Ok, im planning to get scene hair tomarow, and my hair is insanely poofy and super curly. I need it to be straight!! I only know two people who can straighten it: this dude @ the mall, and my hairdresser. I can't even come close. This one straightener (the one the mall guy used) worked really well, but it was $150 which my mom refuses to pay. Any ideas 4:
1.tips to straighten my hair
2. cheap straighteners that ACTUALLY WORK
Thanxx!

I LOVE "Scene" hair. I gave one of our daughters a scream short emo A-symentic style. That being said...

We highly recommend you either invest in a proper straightening service with a professional, OR get really good at flat ironing hair, and trade the service with a girlfriend.
A cheap straightener, (or any straightener for that matter) will likely "work" - straightening your hair... However, the hair left on your head may not be the condition you hoped for. Deep conditioners can only resurrect the cuticle so much.

Our team has corrected many a "Kitchen Beautician" and youth experiments. So we caution you to reconsider. Our hearts sink when we see the distress in the pretty faces with rough hair, that we have had to correct!

~OR you can come visit us at Alchemy Hair Studios in San Jose, CA and we will rock your Scene Hair!
