Alchemy Hair Studio is expanding again! Alchemy I is under construction expanding an additional 5 Hair Stations, Skin & Body Spa and upscale Nail Spa with Pedicure bar. We are offering the following opportunities:

  • MASTER DESIGNER - Station Rental $245/wk

ABOUT ALCHEMY

Our culture at Alchemy is relaxed, creative and professional... though our work is busy. We have three (3) salons Alchemy Hair Studio & Spa, Alchemy II Hair Studio and Alchemy Nail Spa, all located in charming Willow Glen, a community oriented area of San Jose.

We have a cool thing here... a buncha gals producing detailed services, while providing our guests a sanctuary and a smile that they can look forward to at each appointment. Our Designers promote their business with professionalism and have a few laughs along the way! All “drama” is left at home, and a sense of humor is mandatory!

.........HAIR.........

MASTER DESIGNER, Station Rental - $245/week

Our laboratory compliments the salon decor and outfitted with our stylists in mind, complete with a dedicated 30” x 39” private cabinet for each Designer. Our stations are custom-made Asian style furniture. Designers also receive clientele support with marketing material, advertising and community events and a wonderfully supportive team.

SENIOR DESIGNER, Commission to Rental - 50/50 designer carries color/chem

You will enjoy all of the benefits of a rental designer, and we will provide your the business building tools and advanced education encouragement to become a Master Designer renter within one (1) year.

STYLIST & SALON ASSISTANT - Freelance Commission

This part-time position allows a licensed self-starter to assist with daily services, including product recommendation and salon maintenance. You will be building your skill-set and clientele while supplementing your income. Ultimately, you will become a full-time commission Senior Designer, with a goal of station renter Master Designer. (When else will you ever hear that?)

.........FACE & BODY SPA.........

We are looking for estheticians interested in servicing Alchemy Clients with the best in skin care services. We have 20+ stylists recommending and promoting your services. We have two (2) new dedicated rooms beautifully decorated with a calming Asian environment.

ESTHETICIAN - Room Rental & Freelance Commission

We are currently courting several skin care lines, looking for the best in our industry, your recommendation is important to us. We are looking for a professional to bring some clientele with them, and will consider part-time opportunities.

MASSEUSE - Freelance Commission

Alchemy will provide essential oil infused lotions to compliment to experience . We are looking for a licensed professional to bring some clientele with them, and will consider part-time opportunities.

We are excited to announce we are adding an adjacent Manicure & Pedicure Spa! We have 20+ stylists recommending and promoting your services and a community delighted that we are bringing an upscale environment. Our vision is to have a true Nail Spa, for which both salons may offer additional services to our guests!

NAIL TECHNICIAN - Booth Rental & Freelance Commission

Nail Technicians will be finished in acrylic pink & white, multi-tone crystal nails and nail art. We are looking for engaging personalities interested in building their own clientele and working for themselves.

MANI & PEDI-CURIST - Booth Rental & Freelance Commission

Mani & Pedi-curists will be finished in natural nail nurturing and nail art. We are looking for engaging personalities interested in building their own clientele and working for themselves.
